Chemical process engineer. This is where I keep the projects I've written up, the books that have shaped how I think, and a few of the things I do outside of work.
Reports and models I've put together on my own time, spanning process engineering, energy, and a bit of applied math.
A running shelf, sorted by category.

A few races I've trained for and finished.
Some of the places I've been and things I do when I'm not at a plant or a desk.
Short travel videos from a few favorite trips. There's more on my YouTube channel.
YouTube — @joshuasharpes →Undergraduate capstone design reports, lab research, and professional-development certificates from CU Boulder — the source material behind a lot of the engineering habits I still use.
Footage from my high school state championship run, alongside a side project: ranking the greatest Colorado high school football seasons since 2004, adjusted for school size and private-school recruiting reach.

Method. 4,179 rated 11-man team-seasons (2004–2025) from MaxPreps final ratings, matched to CHSAA enrollment. Score blends performance above what a school's enrollment predicts (45%; private enrollment counted at 2.5×), national standing (25%), margin over the next-best team in the same class (15%), and record (15%), with shortened seasons discounted. 8- and 6-man programs aren't rated by MaxPreps and aren't included.
